USRA NATS 2004 Tulsa

Wednesday Warm up G7 I was looking forward for the race in Tulsa, because this city is on Route 66, and I like this number. What's happened? I didn't get my baggage including the racing box and all parts. For the warm-up I borrow car and setups from Jeff Mack. I led easy whole semi, loosing only few laps before finish. The main began faster as semi and my car hadn't enough down force by higher speed. The body I used was build as G27 body with lower side dams. From the last place after the first heat I came up to the fourth place in the finish
Thursday - Saturday Expectation the baggage, helping friends by the racing, spending time on Internet.
Saturday Finally got one bag with tools, controller, choke, bodies, armatures and parts for business. I borrow the winning chassis from Geezer race from Les Wright as well as gears, spacers and many small parts, borrow Setups from Boyt Johnson, axles from Mario, pinions from Jeff and built Demon body. The differences were not big. In fourth heat on red lane I lost laps again by bad moving from the start and on end of the heat my motor slowed down. Next heats again fight to come closer. In the last heat on black lane I came for a while to 4th place but falling out on top turn many times put me back and finished 5th. What to say? If you look on results form another quarters you can see I can move up with my laps from any another group. And in Quarter ‘A’ I could win...
