Minden Masters 2004

Great race on great track. The track is really scale track with all curves flat. Challenging is long straight where you need speeeeeed. I resisted participation 3 years (the same or close date for the Worlds and GM) but finally I came. Sorry, I missed my daughter’s birthday at home.
Many international drivers meet here from Belgium, Canada, Czech, Denmark, England, France, Germany, Holland, Italy, Slovakia and Switzerland.
Missed Frankie and Michal from Czech were replaced with another strong Czechs Junior & Senior Micek and Peter Krcil.
Paolo Trigilio shows new chassis for G12 & G6 running to victory. In G12 I fought for 4th place, good feeling with the car and really enjoy the race.
For the Open class I got Trigilio's chassis, finished the car in last minute before the tech closed and finished 4th in qualifying (direct move up to semi). Ernie run quali after me and I told him: drive faster, I want to race the heats. But I should to.
Semi was OK, in the first heat I run 40 laps, this gave me very good assumption to move up, I didn't need to hurry. Lane choice for the main gave me opportunity to start on lane 4th (orange). For the main I used faster motor with 19T 25 PK armature instead of 23T 25 from the semi. To much power on the wheels make my car slippery on lanes 1 -3. I fall down to 8th.after first heats. Only Junior's broken lead wire, Senior's penalty for clearance and Ernie's weak motor pushed me to final 4th place.
The schedule for the next year is 5th - 8th  May. 2005 Don't miss it. I recommended!!!
