Barn Burner G27 - 22.feb.2004 Port Jefferson

Because my new motors were not fast enough in the practice, I didn't want to start. In qualifying I finished 10th from 24 entries and have to run heats. But my car handle very well and I moved up to semi and to the main. In the main I run on 3rd. place, after red lane drop to 4th place. In 5th heat I got shoot from the back and my car slow down. Continued with 2,8 laptimes till end of the heat. Back magnet was broken, I changed the motor and in the next heats I came closer to 4th position. But my last segment was black lane with some mistakes. Racers from 6th to 8th position had bigger gap so I finished on 5th.

G27 - postavil som 2 nove motory 1OM a nabil ich novymi kotvami Koford. Pre istotu som dal taku kotvu aj do stareho motora. Po testoch bolo jasne, ze nove kotvy nefunguju. Ani nove motory. Brali pod 3 A a jazdili za 2,4 sec. Nasiel som len 3 zo starych, ktore davali 2,3. Nechcel som ani startovat, ale nakoniec som sa rozhodol, ze vramci rozjazdenia pre G7 pojdem. Skladal som dalsie motory a hladal daky, co by aspon trochu daval. V kvalifikacii som bol 10 z 24 a musel som jazdit heaty. Bez problemov som postupil, lebo auto dobre sedelo. Na semi som nechal ten isty motora postupil som ako posledny do finale. Ostala mi zlta, cize posledna jazde na ciernej, co mi nevadilo, lebo cierna mi isla. Do finale som dal najlepsi motor a nabrusil supernaturalky. Auto celkom davalo. Po 3 jazdach som bol 3. Stvrta bola cervena a klesol som o 1 kolo na 4.m. V 5. ma trafili vo fingri zozadu a auto prestalo davat. Bol rozlamany magnet, jazdil som dalej s casmi 2,8 s.  Bal som sa, ze nedokoncim. Nastastie draha parkrat stala a motor si oddychol. Dojazdil som a klesol len na 5.m. Vymenil som v pauze motor a v dalsich jazdaxch sa priblizoval k 4.m. Posledna na ciernej mi vsak nevysla, ale dalsi mali taky odstup, ze ma nemohli predbehnut. Chassis ZAP 2.8, Phantom 138/28-Chickovka, spoilery -3mm, prevod 39/10. WX na krajoch, SN na stredoch.
