G27 - this year took part 11 amateurs and 10 Pro racers. Qualifying was together. The race as round Robin, amateurs one group and pro's second group.

I started on orange lane very well with 101 laps. All heat long led Benny but with help of some wonder I took him over in last seconds. Second heat was fantastic, I run 103 laps and took the lead. After that I paused 2 heats and continued on red with 97 laps. Next heats I run my race and I run pretty fast. I tried don't make mistakes and to stop before crashes. Benny and Gugu have had pauses before me, so when I returned, we raced in real standings till the end. Gugu was in last 3 heats very very fast and came very fast to me. Benny was in the middle of the race closer to me, but in heat no.7 he had some troubles and retired from the game about the win. And Gugu was closer and closer. Before the last heat I thought what to do. Finally I did nothing with my car due to my experience from the Worlds 2005. I left the same tires and I didn't cut the rear spoiler as I usually do. Gugu finished very close to me about 1/2 lap. It was my first win in the USA.

I run aluminum chassis Koford Beuf Express, Voki 14M setup, Koford 32o armature, Koford WX tires and Parma Phantom body 138/28mm.

 

G7 - Less drivers as in G27, only 12. Chicky finished last year and Beuf's second child have to be born this days as I heart.

After qualifying the first 4 moved up to the main and 8 drivers run one semi. After easy ride I move up as the first one. In the main I started from orange lane. The main was not as fast as on the Nats 2005. I was not so tired, because we raced on 7 PM. Last year it was much more later, I guess at 11PM. I was not fast, but I run my laps, didn't make too many mistakes and has no defects. After heat no.4 I changed one motor and one time I changed the gear, one tooth was missing. The tires consumption was extreme, at last heats I hasn't tires ready to use. Some were bended, some riped and all too small. But I finished some way. During the race I came to 3rd. place and in the last 3 heats to 2nd. position. On the first position run home youngster Chubbie an after heat no.6 I was only 3 laps behind him. In the heat no.7 on black I lost more laps. I didn't change fresh motor and I was not able to run faster to catch him. But anyway perfect second place.

I used Carbon chassis 2KK, new 14M VOKI setups, PK 74,5 arms, Koford Peugeot body 139/31 and Koford WX tires.

 

 

G27 - zúčastnilo sa 11 amatérov a 10 profi jazdcov. Kvalifikacia sa išla spoločne. Závod sa išiel na pauzíráka, amatéri jedna skupina a profi druhá skupina.

Začal som na oranžovej vcelku dobre 101 kôl. Celu jazdu viedol Benny ale dakym zázrakom v posledných sekundách som sa dostal pred neho. Druhá jazda bola fantastická, dal som 103 kôl a išiel do vedenia. Potom som mal 2 jazdy pauzu a pokračoval som na červenej 97 kolami. Situácia bola vzhľadom k pauzám neprehľadná. Jazdil som si svoje a aj dosť rýchlo. Snažil som sa nebúrať a nerobiť chyby. Benny a Gugu mali pauzy predo mnou, takže keď som sa vrátil, jazdili sme už s reálnym stavom až do konca. Gugu bol v posledných 3 jazdách rýchly jak prasa a silne sťahoval. Benny bol bližšie, ale v siedmej jazde mal nejaký výpadok a bol mimo hry. A Gugu len sťahoval a sťahoval. Pred poslednou jazdou som rozmýšlal, čo urobiť, aby som bol rýchlejší. Nakoniec po skúsenostiach z MS 2005 som radšej neurobil nič. Nechal som kolá čo tam boli a ani som neodstrihol zadný spoiler, ako som zvyknutý. Bolo to tesne o pol kola ale samozrejme to stačilo. Moje prvé víťazstvo v USA.

Jazdil som duralové šasi Beuf express, motor 14M, kotvu Koford 32o , kolá Koford WX, kasňu Parma Phantom 138/28.

 

 

G7 - Jazdcov bolo ešte menej, iba 12. Chicky už skončil vlani, Beuf čaká rodinu a ostatným sa asi nechcelo. Po kvalifikácii prví 4 postúpili priamo do finále. Ostatní ôsmi jazdili jedno semifinále a 4 postupovali do finále. Po kľudnej jazde som postúpil ako prvý. Použil som jeden motor. Vo finále som štartoval, kto by to povedal, z oranžovej. Finále nebolo také rýchle ako na Nats 2005. Celkom som stíhal, ani som nebol veľmi unavený, lebo sme jazdili iba o siedmej večer. Vlani to bolo podstane neskôr, myslím že o jedenástej. Nebol som rýchly, ale točil som si zase svoje, nerobil som veľa chýb a nemal som žiadne poruchy. Po štvrtej jazde som vymenil motor a jedenkrát som menil prevod cez pauzu, lebo chýbal jeden zub. Kola išli strašne dole, ku koncu som už nemal na čom jazdiť, lebo som dáke roztrhol, dáke ohol a ostatné ojazdil. Ale dáko to vydržalo. Dostal som sa postupne na tretie a ku koncu až na druhé miesto. Prvý jazdil domáci mlaďas Chubbie a myslím že po šiestej jazde som bol za ním len 3 kolá. Predposlednú jazdu na čiernej som trocha stratil a vzhľadom k tomu, že som nechcel meniť motor, tak som to nebol schopný dobehnúť. Ale aj tak super druhé miesto.

Jazdil som karbonové šasi 2KK, nové 14 magnetové motory, kotvy PK 74,5, karosériu Koford Peugeot 139/31 a kola Koford WX.
